Home Care The West

Why consider aged care in The West

Western Sydney’ usually refers to suburbs west of Sydney Olympic Park – Auburn, Lidcombe, Granville – through to the Nepean River – Emu Plains, Glenmore Park. Reaching as far north as Kellyville and Marsden Park, and south to Cabramatta and Kemps Creek, the area’s major commercial centres are Parramatta, Blacktown and Penrith. Parramatta is a CBD in its own right, served by frequent public transport and less than half an hour by motorway to central Sydney. Western Sydney houses a rapidly-growing population, with house and land packages popular at the fringe and apartments developing along major transport lines. Aged care and nursing home facilities are expanding to keep pace, with major hospitals at Westmead and Penrith (Nepean Hospital).

  • Population (as at 2022): 1172000
