Why consider aged care in Sunshine Coast

Like its glitzier Gold Coast cousin, the Sunshine Coast has grown to blend into the Queensland capital. As such it can be said to extend from Brisbane’s suburbs of Caboolture and Bribie Island to as far north as Noosa. Inland towns like Cooroy, Nambour, Woombye and Kilcoy may also be considered part of the region. The subtropical climate features mild and dry winters, with summers warmer and more humid. Nursing homes and aged care facilities are well supported by both the Sunshine Coast and Metro North Health Services, with the major Sunshine Coast University Hospital located in Birtinya just south of Maroochydore.
