About
Calvary Heath Care
Founded in 1885 by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, Calvary is a charitable, not-for-profit, Catholic health care organisation. Our mission is to provide quality, compassionate health care to the most vulnerable. Guided by our values of hospitality, healing, stewardship, and respect, we are committed to the health and safety of our employees, patients, residents, volunteers, contractors, and visitors. We are also dedicated to minimising our impact on the environment.
With over 18,000 staff and volunteers, Calvary operates a national network of 13 public and private hospitals, more than 70 residential aged care homes and retirement communities, and 13 home care service centres. We deliver a range of aged care, disability, clinical, and other support services that enable independence, improve social connections, and promote positive health and wellbeing across six states and territories.
We are inspired by the work that began over 135 years ago, with care and compassion at its heart. We deliver the kind of care our residents love to tell others about. We have a special place in our hearts for older Australians and strive to create a safe, friendly, and encouraging environment for those in our care. What sets us apart is our holistic approach to healthcare. We adapt to the needs and lifestyles of those in our care, not the other way around.
