Gordon Lodge is ideally located on the banks of Lake Howard in the centre of the Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek. Gordon Lodge has 50 single rooms with en-suites and a 10 bed wing for people living with dementia called Rose Cottage that has single bedrooms and shared bathrooms. Rose Cottage, has uninterrupted views of the picturesque Lake Howard park lands which is home to many species of bird life and native plants.
Many residents have direct access to a large internal courtyard which has an abundance of sunlight with native plants and bird life, whilst other rooms have balconies overlooking the gardens and streetscape of the retirement village or Lake Howard park lands. There are many lounge areas where Residents can attend activities or enjoy time relaxing with family and friends.
Gordon Lodge provides services from visiting allied health professionals including GP's, Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. A Hairdresser service operates from within the lodge 4 days a week and other facilities include a village shop, a well-stocked library and a large central activities room.
The lodge has a comprehensive activities program for residents which include exercise groups, physio chi, quizzes, craft activities and regular bus trips. Meals are cooked fresh on site with a variety of summer and winter menu choices available for residents.
