The mecwacare Malvern Centre opened in 2010. It is one of Melbourne’s premium aged-care residences, offering an extensive range of lifestyle options in welcoming surroundings for more than 100 residents. Located in the heart of Malvern, the centre offers easy access to the city, to medical facilities and to the excellent shopping and recreational activities of the Malvern area, with abundant public transport nearby.

The mecwacare Malvern Centre can provide a range of accommodation options for individuals and couples, with a choice of one-, two- or three-room suites that can be configured according to individual requirements. Each suite offers ensuite bathroom facilities and telephone, television and internet connections.

Each wing has one large dining room, one large lounge room, two internal courtyards, external courtyards and garden areas, an intimate lounge room, and a music/television room.

Contemporary artwork is displayed throughout the facility, including original paintings, sculptures and installations. The interior features relaxing colour schemes, antique, French and Italian designer furniture, and modern fittings. High-quality cream-toned carpet is used throughout, creating a luxurious, at-home environment. Premium linen and silk inlay curtains and designer fabric are utilised across the facility.

Our landscaped outdoor areas are very popular. These courtyards and gardens, with park benches surrounded by stunning flowers and open skies, bring much joy to our residents.
