The Lady Clark Retirement Village is a registered charity and not for profit association providing access to secure, safe low cost rental housing and living opportunities for retired couples or individuals. We promote an independent and flexible lifestyle for all our residents while providing the surety of long-term home security and ongoing affordability with no maintenance obligations. Our retirement Village aims to foster and encourage a sense of community amongst its residents. The creation and maintenance of a strong, caring pastoral relationship between management and the residents is a major focus of the Association. 

Location and Services

With Derwent River views from our Amber Street villas and views of Mt Wellington from many others, the Lady Clark Retirement Village is set on 6 acres of secluded tranquil gardens with a mountain terain backdrop of magnificant proportions. Conveniently situated within a 10-25 minute radius, residents can access Glenorchy, Bridgewater, New Norfolk, Richmond, and the heart of Hobart with ease. Positioned near the prestigious Mona, residents are close to a world standard art gallery, cafés, markets and waterfront attractions. For local day-to-day needs, Claremont Village Shopping Centre is either a short stroll away or a quick 2 minute drive. The shopping centre and surrounds have a good selection of shops inclusive of a bakery, cafes, post office, supermarket, newsagency, chemists, dentists and doctors surgery. For those residents who have an active lifesty there are bowling clubs, golf club, tennis courts, RSL and dancing close by.
