Eldercare Cottage Grove was built in 1995 and renovated in 2005 to incorporate a new Memory Support Unit. There are also three newly-built retirement living villas conveniently co-located to the rear of the site.

Location/Access
Cottage Grove is located in the in the leafy suburb of Woodcroft in Adelaide's southern suburbs. The facility is close to the local hospital, medical centre, local shopping centre, cafés and pharmacy which are just a short drive away.
Site Features and Amenities
Cottage Grove features 97 spacious single rooms each with its own air-conditioning unit and ensuites. There are also two double suites for couples.
Cottage Grove has landscaped gardens some of which have raised gardens beds for resident use, a gazebo area for BBQs and family functions and abundant outdoor seating. The residents have use of an onsite hairdresser, Internet kiosk and cafeteria.
Meals are cooked onsite daily by a chef. A continental breakfast is provided daily and residents are offered a cooked breakfast weekly. There is a choice of two courses for lunch and three courses for evening meals.
There are two doctors' surgeries adjacent and other health professionals visit regularly. Cottage Grove also offers complementary therapies such as massage therapy for pain management.
We have a full-time chaplain available to support residents and families emotionally and spiritually.
Lifestyle
In addition to our comprehensive clinical care program, we have an extensive lifestyle program and the staff encourage and support resident choice and independence.
Cottage Grove celebrates special events throughout the year and holds regular theme days and functions. We also provide regular bus outings.
Conveniently co-located with The Vines Uniting Church, our facility is supported by the congregation through volunteering. Residents have the opportunity to attend the Sunday service at The Vines and maintain their faith.
Onkaparinga Council provides a mobile library service including large print books.
Eldercare Cottage Grove enjoys an intergenerational relationship with local primary schools and high schools. Children visit to sing recitals, participate in activities and complete special projects such as life histories.
