RFBI Benhome Masonic Village is located close to the town of Maitland which has a rich heritage and holds strong historical connections in the Hunter Region. Built on the banks of the Hunter River, which brought life and trade to the early city, Maitland is one of the oldest heritage rich regional centres in Australia.

The heart of the city offers all services and amenities you need. From shopping to cultural and recreational services, our village bus can take you there, looking after you all the way.

At RFBI Benhome Masonic Village, we strive to ensure a happy and fulfilling experience with modern well-designed rooms that provide a comfortable, relaxing environment for all of our residents. The Village also includes a state-of-the-art memory support unit for those living with dementia.

All our rooms are single complete with private en-suite, TV and phone. Rooms are tastefully furnished and we encourage you to bring some personal items to make you feel right at home. There are many living spaces throughout the village for you to enjoy on your own or with others. On-site services include a hairdressers, gym and wellness centre, a library and music corner and a computer nook.

Care is provided 24 hours a day in a loving and friendly environment where quality of life and attention to your needs are our number one priority. Our personal care assistants help with day to day needs as required; showering, dressing, grooming, mobility and ongoing treatment for health problems.

As with all RFBI Masonic Villages, an on-site state-of-the-art kitchen and professional catering team will provide fresh and tasty meals. The Village has a Food Focus Committee who meet regularly to discuss menu and service options to cater for your tastes and dietary requirements.

We organise a daily range of activities from craft, concerts, indoor carpet bowls, shuffle board and much more where you can catch up with your fellow residents or learn a new skill. Bus trips are also available for all residents as part of our activity program.
